And for this year's Grinding Stone, the Pros will skip Race 1, which will make the Race 1 course more amateur-friendly and fun 🙌 About half the field will move onto a much more difficult Race 2, then the top-25 will move onto the prestigious Race 3! Are you considering to race the 2026 #KingOfTheMotos or plan on racing it, and would like to feel a bit more prepared? The KOM Race Director, @komjustin72, is hosting the 3rd Annual Moto Madness this Saturday and Sunday, where attendees will learn first-hand from experienced KOM racers about navigation, GPS best practices, technique tips, and the best places to practice in Johnson Valley. Attendees will have a chance to practice their skills on former KOM courses and get used to the terrain. This is not a guided or organized ride. In addition, Justin will be hosting dinner on Saturday night and the total cost of this is FREE‼️

We are excited to add two Pro classes and split the Youth division into three classes. All Pro and Pro Women divisions will now be under Promoter Discretion, requiring an application process with USHE before racing the Pro Division. Check out the new class details below ⬇️

• Pro 4 Stroke: This Pro class will be designated for 4 Strokes and will race on the Pro-level course, if splits are present. This will be a separate AMA Championship and race among the Pro 2 Stroke class. Race purse and Overall Championship points will be determined by their overall finish at each round.

• Pro E-Moto: Spearheaded by @tkoenduro years ago, the Pro E-Moto class will start their Qualifier race behind the Pro 2 Stroke and Pro 4 Stroke classes, but they have the opportunity to have an advanced starting row selection based on Qualifying times. Bike specifications will match the 2025 E-Moto Expert class specifications. Race purse and Overall Championship points will be determined by their overall finish at each round.

• Schoolboy B: At races where a B course split exists, Youth athletes between 14-17 years old on full size bikes will be able to compete amongst each other in the B Class.

• Schoolboy C: At races where a C course split exists, Youth athletes between 12-17 years old on full size bikes will be able to compete amongst each other in the C Class. This class is designed for younger #hardenduro racers that are newer to the sport.

• Youth Super Mini: The previous Youth Lites class is now being split to only allow 12-15 year olds racing Super Mini/big wheel machines.
